Windows Live SkyDrive "is my first choice. It provides 25 GB free space for online storage of your media files and documents." You'll need a Windows Live ID to sign in and access your SkyDrive storage from your computer.
Dropbox allows you to back up files and access them online, or share folders with several people to work together easily. Its desktop program is only needed for syncing files across computers.
