iPhone OS 4.0 is due for Summer 2010 release but iPhone hackers such as iPhone dev team or Geohot has already managed to find out ways to jailbreak the next generation iPhone firmware. iPhone Dev Team’s Redsn0w 0.9.5 and Geohot iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreakingare out as of now and we might witness more tools in coming future for OS 4.0 or OS 3.1.3.
It’s being believed that the jailbreaking tool from Geohot might be named as Limera1n. Geohot has already registered a new domain name as Limera1n.com and the site is currently under construction. Since the date of Geohot’s announcement of iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreaking tool matches the Limera1n.com domain registration date, the next iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak tool might be “Limera1n”.
